Syrian Jacobite Public School (SJPS) was established in 1993 by the Syrian Jacobite Social and Educational Society, a charitable, non-profit making society registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary and Scientific and Charitable Societies Act XII of 1955. Initially, it was run at a temporary site at Kulakkad with 53 students in five classes. Later it was shifted to a splendid, serene, and sprawling 17-acre campus at Varikkad, 1km off from Thiruvalla-Mallappally road near to Believer's Church Medical College. It has a built-up area of 3300 X 10.76 m2 with all amenities for holistic education.
SJPS is a full-fledged day cum boarding Senior Secondary School. At the Senior Secondary level, students can avail Science or Commerce streams. We have separate hostels for boys and girls on our campus, under the parental care of Wardens and dorm parents. We provide veg and non-veg four square meals to our hostlers. School has produced 100% results in the board exam all these years. We are in pursuit of excellence.
Syrian Jacobite Social & Educational Society was founded in September 1992 by the members of Syrian Jacobite Community owing allegiance to the Holy Seer of Antioch and all the East Governed by His Holiness Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II.
